5th February 2021

Year 2 Elves class Zoom session

with author and illustrator Alexis Deacon

We invited a very special guest, Alexis Deacon, to our Zoom session after thoroughly enjoying his story 'Beegu' in our English lessons. During our Zoom, Alexis created some fun and interesting alien characters whilst the children asked him questions about being an author and illustrator. He was very inspiring to talk to and this was certainly a wonderful experience for us to always remember heart

smiley The children did an exceptional job, thinking of intriguing questions to ask him beforehand and asking their questions clearly and confidently (and muting and unmuting like the pros that they are!) smiley

5th March 2020 - World Book Day!

The children and staff have enjoyed various activities throughout the week: -

  • A story around the firepit
  • A trip back to school for a bedtime story with a hot chocolate
  • A trip to Waterstones

On Friday 6th, all the children dressed up as one of their favourite characters from a book of their choice.  This years entries were the best ever and made the judging extremely difficult !!
